Exhibit - Moonbeans Coffee
A multi-artist exhibit, the From Earth to Space Exposition, was held at Moonbeans Coffee on Saturday, September 18th.
The exhibit featured a wide variety of works from artists including Cecilia Sierra, Alejandra Martinez, Michel Flores Tavizon, Dominic J. Sanchez, and Mateo Sustaita.
Also exhibiting were incubator tenants and Alta Vista team members Michael Angelo Medina and Xuan Licerio. Xuan displayed a pair of graphic design works with augmented reality implementations, while Michael Angelo debuted a sculpture, a collage, and a small collection of photographs. Alta Vista member DJ Fl333sh (Tristan Xavier) was also present, spinning an eclectic 3-hour set for the artists and patrons.
The event was curated by Miranda Aleman, known in the art community as Spidspill. Miranda was also an exhibiting artist at the show, debuting a large transparency of her integrated line work alongside a collection of her past works.
The exhibit will remain on display until October 3rd. Moonbeans invites the community to come out, show support for local art, and enjoy the curated selection of artwork currently hanging in the cafe.
